UserBubble is an open source user feedback tool I built, positioned as a Canny alternative. It was released in February 2026 after being revived from a shelved private project.
Origin
I had been working on the tool privately but stopped development. Rather than let it go to waste, I open-sourced it: “I was working on a user feedback tool couple of months ago, but I stopped it, I thought instead of wasting it why not make it open source?”
Key Feature
The central innovation is a pipeline from user feedback directly to code changes via AI. “making user feedback → direct ai → pr. now you can allow your users to implement the features they want.”
I also created a custom better-auth plugin and SDK to connect apps with UserBubble.
Velocity
On the speed of development, reflecting my shipping philosophy, I noted: “it’s freaking cool how much can be shipped in a day.”
