I have participated in multiple blockchain hackathons between 2023 and 2025, getting into them through my work at Viaprize, and winning prize money at two of them. Hackathons served as both learning experiences and social events.
Major hackathons
- ETH India / Indian Blockchain Week, Bangalore (December 2023): My first major blockchain conference. Pitched “twin protocol” at a project showcase. (18 likes on arrival photo.)
- Edge City / Zanzalu hackathon, Thailand (November 2024): Built a project on Worldcoin and Unichain for the JoinEdgeCity hackathon. Won $2,000. The team stayed up all night: “9 am in the morning still hacking,” then “we never slept we just went go karting.” Also played board games.

- ETH Global (September 2025): Built PayAny.link in a weekend. Won $1,500. “was a hectic week ngl, but feels good now. met some cool people too” (17 likes).

Hackathon philosophy
“You can’t go to hackathon to travel either you ended up working your ass off without sleep or you forget about it and just roam around. Both can’t happen.”
The Edge City experience captured the intensity: hacking through the night, no sleep, go-karting at dawn, winning money.
