Legion (@legiondotcc) is a crypto and DeFi launchpad platform where I have worked as a developer since approximately November 2024. It is my primary employment alongside various side projects like Memoize, and represents a significant shift from my earlier work at Gesturs and Viaprize into full-time product development within the crypto industry.
Joining and tenure
I joined Legion around November 2024. I celebrated my one-year anniversary in November 2025: “so guys its my 1 year anniversary at @legiondotcc.” I described my 22nd birthday in the context of the job: “I am 22 today, getting old but this was the best year till now for me. Made pretty good money. Thanks to @legiondotcc.”
Work culture
Legion operates as a remote-first company. The founder is @D0itdifferent, with whom I have a casual working relationship, including requesting leave over informal messages.
I have spoken positively about the flexibility of the arrangement: “Everyone works from home for @legiondotcc and it’s so much better. Coz the main goal is to get the work done instead of doing 9-5. So it don’t matter if I work at night 2am or morning 10 am.” I have also contrasted this with my experience of Indian corporate norms: “Thank god I joined @legiondotcc. Even though some days are rough, they actually ask me to take a break after heavy work. You never see an Indian company doing that.”
Salary and compensation have been a recurring positive theme: “I love seeing this message every month, two days before the end of the month! Honestly love the @legiondotcc team, even though I miss deadlines sometimes, they are mostly chill.” The company also covers my AI tool subscriptions: “I have so many AI subscriptions and dont even worry about it every month coz my company pays for it.”
Technical contributions
I have built and shipped several features at Legion, including:
- Wallet management UX
- Score page redesign
- X (Twitter) authentication integration
- Solana blockchain support
- SecondLane integration for OTC deals
- Various UX improvements across the platform
I upgraded to the Claude Max 20x plan to increase my shipping velocity: “just upgraded to max 20x, more shipping…”
Other roles
Beyond engineering, I have taken on informal developer relations responsibilities: “Sometimes I have a feeling I also do devrel work for @legiondotcc.” I frequently promote Legion sales and launches on Twitter and also invest through the platform personally.
